Theres a new kid that comes to school. Everyone knows that the new kid is always intimidated by everyone else at the school. He gets his schedule and he's off to his first class.
As he walks in, he grabs a seat and sits down as a student comes up to him asks him who he is, where he's from and what he thinks of the new school. The student then begins explaining to the new kid who everyone is and where everything is at the school.
As he walks around during lunch time, he realizes where the cliques are and who hangs out where. Then he sees himself suddenly pop into a group of friends, without any introduction, as if everyone already knows who he is.
But then its all in imagination as he proceeds to sit down by himself. As he sits there, random people begin walking past him saying "Hi" as if they already knew him for years.
He then gets up and is introduced to a group of people and is now within a new group of friends.
The story behind this seems pretty well written. It has a good plot, and I like the magical realism to it. This kind of story is usually well used, but it's still good.
ReplyDeleteVery traditional story. It is funny but very true how sometimes a new kid joins the school and is suddenly just brought into a group without the say-so of the person.
